Misty Brisbane Morning

Winter mornings in Brisbane, when a fog hangs low, are the best times to view the city in its more mysterious state. Some mornings the sun and fog work together for a delightful, ever changing light show and this was one of those mornings. A walk from Kangaroo Point to South Bank will reveal some of the most delightful images of the city. I love to paint these misty views as it allows so much freedom of stroke and imagination. So little is visible and parts of the city come and go as the fog rolls back and forth. Images and a dash of sparkle is the essence of this work.
