Alexandre's Third Crossing

A work of magnificent architecture and art. Every trip to Paris should include a stroll across this iconic bridge. We see it in movies and we see it in friends' travel pictures, but nothing compares to being there, strolling across it in rain or sun, watching the people and soaking in the stories it whispers if you stop long enough. I love how it caters for all: some folk bustle across on their daily business, oblivious of the fact that others are ambling along fulfilling their lifelong dream of walking on this bridge.
