Midnight Bridges

I love Sydney. I lived there for quite some time and my favourite activities were spending time on the northern beaches or around the city area of the harbour. Since moving away a tradition has developed to have champagne at my favourite cafe Portabello, on the foreshore down from the Opera House at sunset. This painting is a celebration of that tradition, one I can thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Sydney. The view as the sun sets and the Harbour Bridge's lights take up the bâton to provide continued delight to the onlooker, in my opinion is rivalled by no other.
