Autumnal Arrowtown

I had never visited New Zealand in autumn so a huge surprise awaited me when we travelled with friends to Queenstown. Seasons eluded our life in the ever sunny Brisbane. Queenstown took our breath away with the intense autumn colours and we all had our cameras and phones clicking at every turn. The culmination of this assault of colour was a visit to the historic Arrowtown, joining my love of old man made environment with nature, and particularly autumn colours. Had I just seen a photo I would not have believed this scene.
