No Turning Back

November has gone and the end of 2025 is almost upon us! For some it has been a miserable year. For some it was full of highlights. I must admit to being a bit of a Polyanna and always looking for what’s next. I have not lived one of those lives where everything works out. Past nightmares try to haunt me however I LOVE LIFE! I learnt from my paternal grandmother not to waste time brooding over the past. So for 2026 I’m smiling and looking upwards.

I love the Christmas season, especially now that I live in a country of cold christmasses. I love to rug up for an evening stroll, wandering past warm lights flickering in cosy windows. This time of short daylight doesn’t last long so I embrace the atmosphere and mood as much as I can.

Thanks for following along with my artistic year and I look forward to “What’s next” as we open the door to 2026.
